Historical & Genealogical Research Services

Through decades  of applied fieldwork, I have advanced my knowledge  of the region’s heritage by  doing extensive work in archives, special collections repositories, and  libraries, as well as through fieldwork  incorporating a blend of  observational  and interview methods.

As a result, I  have a knowledge of frequently neglected historical methods and records groups.  I also employ social science methods to strengthen the quality of historical analysis and magnify the quality of available source materials.

I also serve as a consultant for public history projects.  Here are some of the services I offer.

Genealogical Research

As a researcher with over 30 years' experience doing historical and genealogical studies on the Delmarva Peninsula, I am available for commission projects in Maryland and Delaware.

Oral History

Since documentary research tells only part of the story, I often use first-hand interviews for many of my studies.  If you need help recording the voices of your family, business, organization or community, please email me.

Corporate & Public History
